Thank you for joining me on my journeys, I hope that you will enjoy the read as much as I did typing it.

Let me start off by telling you a bit more about myself. My main goal with this blog is to tell people more about the way that I see life and to share my life experiences, the good, the bad and the unspoken.

I am a Millennial (90s baby, 1992) from Pretoria, South Africa with a strong passion for traveling, food and cycling. For the past 3 years I have been doing a bit of traveling and a lot of soul searching, I’ve been to a few countries in Asia but plan to extend the list by at least one country per year, that is my annual personal goal. I would literally spend my life traveling and exploring the world, I mean who wouldn’t. In most cases I think we can all agree that because of a 45 hour work week, 15 days of leave per year and a tight budget unfortunately I can’tlive the dream, yet.

My passion for travelling started in May 2017, visiting Phuket in Thailand was an eye opener for me. From seeing the busy nightlife in Bangla Road and the daily shopping scenes in Patong to visiting the calm town of Ao Nang with it’s crystal clear beaches and amazing food. Seeing different types of people from other cultures ranging from the hustlers to the humble locals, it was an experience that got me hooked to learn more about the world and other cultures.

Currently I am planning my upcoming trip to China in my usual meticulous manner, I will go more into depth about this in one of my following post so keep on reading.
